What is TEFA?

The Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) program provides eligible Texas families with state-funded dollars—similar to an education savings account—to spend on approved educational products and services. Funds are managed through the Odyssey platform, where families purchase approved products and services through the Odyssey Marketplace. Mathmaji is an approved TEFA vendor.

Why families choose Mathmaji

  • Self-paced, K–5 — each child moves at their own speed

  • Standalone or supplement — works as a full Kindergarten through Grade 5 math curriculum, or alongside another program

FAQ

Is Mathmaji a full curriculum or a supplement? Both — families use it as a standalone K–5 math curriculum or alongside other programs.

How many kids can use one subscription? Up to 4 students per one-year subscription.

Do I need anything besides my Odyssey login to purchase? No — if your TEFA account is active and funded, you can complete checkout directly in the Marketplace.

What if my family doesn't have TEFA funds? You can still subscribe in the App Store or Google Play — TEFA is one way to pay, not a requirement.
